Choose Connor, the taut political drama that stars Steven Weber, Alex Linz, and Escher Holloway, gained notice and generated buzz at numerous film festivals earlier this year.

It has also been favorably compared to such films as the critcally acclaimed 2007 film Michael Clayton. Heady stuff for 21-year old writer and director Luke Eberl. The film opens October 10.

Fifteen-year-old Owen Norris (Alex Linz) is at the top of his graduating middle-school class, has no friends and spends almost all of his time studying.

But his mundane suburban life is changed forever when he meets Congressman Lawrence Connor (Steven Weber) and his young nephew Caleb (Escher Holloway).

As Caleb and Owen become close friends, Connor offers Owen the position of “youth campaign spokesman” for the upcoming Senate primaries.

Owen’s fun summer job takes a dark turn as he uncovers the frightening truth about the deranged secret world of politics in which he has become entangled.
